The Attorre family live in a well-to-do suburban neighbourhood in Rome. Luca is a washed up journalist listlessly trying to make a living with his craft, and Susi is a dancer whose career hasn’t quite lived up to her ambition. We see their dreams and disappointments come to light when they hire an Irish au pair to look after their daughter.
